On 1 November, dozens of labour unions and mass organizations from the north-west Athens neighbourhoods of Nea Ionia, Neo Heraklio, Nea Filadelfia and Metamorfosi organized a dynamic and massive anti-fascist rally in Neo Heraklio. Student associations also participated.

Shouting loudly “You are the world’s decay; block the fascists in every neighbourhood”, the protesters made it clear that fascists and their poison have no place in their neighbourhoods.

The mobilization was organized in response to the fascist rally announced by the criminal Nazi organization “Golden Dawn”  in Neo Heraklio.

KKE MP Aphrodite Ktena attended the rally.
