A message of internationalist solidarity for the peoples of the world who suffer under the system of injustice and wars

For another year, the Anti-Imperialist Camp of the Communist Youth of Greece (KNE) has sent a message of internationalist solidarity to all the peoples of the world who are experiencing the horrors of war, poverty and exploitation under the decayed capitalist system. Particular emphasis was placed on expressing solidarity with the heroic people of Palestine and the other peoples of the Middle East.

Ramzi Salem, representative of the Palestinian People's Party Youth, attended the events and noted in his speech, among other things: “In times like these, your commitment to internationalism, anti-imperialism, and people’s struggle is more than solidarity—it is a form of resistance in itself. (…) We speak to you today with pain, but also with pride. Because we come from a land that has become the frontline of global injustice, and yet also a beacon of resistance: Palestine, and at its bleeding heart, Gaza. (…) But Gaza does not kneel. Despite the devastation, our people continue to resist. They resist not only with arms, but with poetry, with song, with steadfastness, and with the unshakable belief that liberation is not only necessary—it is inevitable. This belief keeps us alive. And your solidarity keeps us strong. Because Palestine is not a charity case. Palestine is a global symbol of resistance. (...)  We, the children of refugee camps, of occupied cities, of resistance songs, may be under siege—but we are not broken. We believe, with all our hearts, that another world is possible. And we believe you are building it with us”.

Three other organisations that had been invited but were unable to attend, sent their messages to the 34th Anti-Imperialist Camp of KNE.

Specifically, the Palestinian Communist Youth Union noted the following in its message, among other things: “The Palestinian Communist Youth Union and the Palestinian Communist Party extend warm Bolshevik greetings to the comrades of the Communist Party of Greece and its youth, who, despite all the pressures and challenges they face, remain steadfast in their revolutionary principles and hold high the banner of Marxism-Leninism against an international system based on plunder, exploitation and war. (…) When the struggle of the Palestinian people is understood as a prospect for revolutionary national liberation, it becomes an integral part of the international struggle against the capitalist-imperialist system. (…) Comrades in the Communist Party of Greece and KNE, we look to you with pride. You have never merely been proponents of solidarity; you have been companions on a journey and an example of stability, clarity and dedication to revolutionary principles. Our theoretical and militant unity is an expression of a common class destiny and a shared belief that socialism is not a postponed dream, but an urgent necessity for the salvation of humanity and the planet. No matter how intense the repression or how numerous the enemies and regimes – conspirators, the pole of the peoples will rise, and history will not be written by the pen of the powerful, but by the hands of the masses as they organise, arm their consciousness and subjugate the current moment to their liberation plan. With every popular uprising, every workers' strike and every student protest, the illusion of the ‘end of history’ is shattered and the features of a new, just, free and socialist world emerge as a prospect”.

For its part, the Young Communist League of Israel notes, among other things, in its message: “We are living in an era marked by an escalating global imperialist aggression against the people of the world. New fronts of war and destruction are opened in the service of capital’s interests at the expense of the lives and rights of peoples to self-determination.  For over a year and a half, the Gaza Strip has been under a brutal and continuous Israeli assault, which has claimed tens of thousands of lives and destroyed Gaza’s social, economic, and humanitarian foundations. (…) In the face of this reality, we reaffirm our conviction that it is the peoples and at their forefront, the working class, youth, and students who will overturn this system based on war and exploitation, and who will build an alternative reality that is just and free. (…) We salute our comrades in KNE for their steadfast youth struggle, firmly rooted in the interests of the working class and the oppressed peoples of the world”.

Furthermore, the Tudeh Youth of Iran notes in its greeting, among other things: “The Communist Party of Greece (KKE) and its youthful cadres in the KNE are deservedly known as champions of international solidarity and fraternal cooperation. We wish you success in widening and deepening your struggle for qualitative progressive change in Greece as well as internationally. And in these difficult and precarious times, we call for a redoubling of the endeavours between our respective organisations for international solidarity and against imperialist aggression in Iran and the Middle east. As you are no doubt aware, our homeland is currently in the midst of a dangerous crisis with potentially catastrophic consequences for our people as a result of the unjustified aggression imposed by US-led imperialism and its chief lapdog, the criminal apartheid regime in Israel. (…) We hereby loudly proclaim that the Tudeh Youth of Iran, and indeed all youth campaigning for peace and progress in our devastated homeland, join with you in spirit as you convene your magnificent campaign of learning in preparedness for the challenges and struggles that lie ahead”.
